Using rhythmic movement, sensitive pressure, breath awareness, imagery, and verbal dialogue, somato-emotional integration focuses on reconnecting body, mind and emotions. It can help process memory and feeling locked in painful or numb areas of the body. It is especially appropriate for pain and tension from traumatic injury, from addictive/compulsive and dysfunctional experiences, and it is effective for those recovering from physical and emotional abuse.
