When my employer suggested that I take this course from Body Therapy Associates, even though I had taken it 7 years earlier, I was concerned that I'd be bored. Boy, was I wrong! It is was updated to reflect new research and techniques that I find myself using daily. Thank you, Carole!

Certification Requirements
I understand that I will receive certification and continuing education credits for this course ONLY if I have satisfactorily performed on both the theoretical test (minimum 80% score) and the hands-on evaluations (satisfactory in accuracy, pressure, sensitivity, speed, rhythm, positioning, draping, client interaction, and body mechanics). Although most students complete the program within the four workshop days, I understand that if my in-class test and evaluation are not both satisfactory, I will be required to do further study, practice, and evaluation in order to be certified and get CEU documentation.
Special Note to Course Repeaters
Many successful, certified graduates retake the Pre and Perinatal Massage Therapy certification workshop. NCBTMB allows one repetition of a course. In order to receive CEU credits you must attend the entire workshop and participate in all portions, including hands-on practicum and taking the written exam. BTA offers graduates a 25% tuition discount. Most schools that sponsor our workshop will allow the same discount, but please contact us first so we can check with the sponsoring school to see if this is permissible.
