Marjeanne Estes, BS, AA, Licensed Massage Therapist

Marjeanne Estes is a graduate of Louisiana University in Monroe where she received a BS in pharmacy. She practiced pharmacy for 10 years in a retail setting before changing careers for a more wholistic approach to health. She attended the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego, completing an AA in combined methods of massage in July, 2002. Now a part of the faculty at IPSB, she enjoys working with the students. In addition to her massage practice and teaching she is also the business manger of Body Therapy Associates and has worked along side Carole Osborne since 2001.

Her massage work specializations are deep tissue massage, somatic emotional integration, certified pre and perinatal massage therapy, and trained to work with clients with cancer. Her background in pharmacy gives her an in-depth insight into many of the medical aspects of health. Her approach to bodywork encompasses the whole being; body, mind, spirit and sees them as interconnected, not separated. Marjeanne brings many assets in working with clients; knowledge, compassion, commitment while maintaining curiosity and fascination about how complex and amazing the human body really is..
